3rd Alumni Weekend of EYP Cyprus

The 3rd Alumni Weekend of EYP Cyprus will take place on 8th-9th September 2018 at Oroklini, Larnaca.  The event will run from 10:00 on Saturday 8th September to 17:30 on Sunday 9th September. 

 

During this event, a number of workshops and modules will be given on the skills and knowledge developed through the involvement in EYP events. This event will offer modules on leadership, project and time management, public relations and communication in a wider context. It will be a chance for participants to identify and build on the transferrable skills developed through their involvement in the EYP network on a national and international level. 

 

The event is expected to accommodate a total of 20 individuals and positions will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. This event is only open to EYP Cyprus Alumni. The deadline for registering your interest is Friday 10th August.

"Ever since I joined my school I’ve always been hearing about how awesome of an experience EYP was. How 4 days in the summer were able to change people’s perspective and help them in improving their abilities to work as a member of a team, while socializing and creating new friendships.

Asymina Aza reflected on the most interesting part of her European Youth Event experience:

"The corruption index talk was really insightful, it was interesting and also morbidly entertaining to hear people’s experiences with corruption. (There were quite a few stories from people)"

Our participants share their experiences at the #EYE2018!

Andreas Nicolaou was motivated to join the EYP Cyprus team to the European Youth Event in order to "meet as many interesting people as possible, while learning more about the diversity that bonds us as Europeans."

His favourite part of the programme was the presentation by Paolo Nespoli, an astronaut of the European Space Agency.
