Check out our EYPer of the week: Lena Nikolaou

Lena, who is an 18-year-old student, had a lot to say about her reasons for joining EYP and what the experience has taught her:

"Curiosity and excitement would be the fundamental reasons that pushed me to participate in EYP. The unknown tends to intimidate people just like me, I found myself enthralled by this new world of knowledge, skill and international friendships.

The European Youth Parliament has been mentioned as an example of meaningful youth participation at the UN Security Council's first open debate on Youth, Peace and Security.

We are so proud to finally witness the efforts of all EYP participants and volunteers being recognised on a global level.
