Athens 2019 - 39th National Selection Conference of EYP Greece

Youth employment in Europe: Ensuring effective infrastructure to provide young people with equal and ample opportunities
The 39th National Selection Conference of EYP Greece will be held in Athens, between the 19th and the 22nd of April 2019, with the Officials’ Training taking place on the 18th of April.
Under the theme "Youth employment in Europe: Ensuring effective infrastructure to provide young people with equal and ample opportunities", 120 delegates from Attica and other Western & Central regions of Greece as well as an international team of Officials will gather for a 4-day NSC in the capital city of Greece.
The European Union has freely decided to be characterised by omnipotent and omnipresent values such as the respect of human dignity, freedom, democracy and equality. Thus, to ensure that youth employment is promoted, providing equal opportunities to its citizens could not be absent from its agenda as two of its primary goals. The Session’s theme reflects upon this pan-European effort to rebuild the Union’s workforce and create new and more flexible plans that will be based on lifelong learning and high level apprenticeship.
The session will be head-organised by Vasilis Farsarotas, Nicolas Moraitis, Sofia Sdrali and George Taggilis, while Sofia-Xeni Kathareiou will be serving as a Member of the Executive Board of EYP Greece.
