Belfast Regional Forum of EYPUK 2017

On March 30th, Delegates from across Northern Ireland will gather for the annual Northern Ireland Regional Forum, where a variety of topics including climate refugees and conflict diamonds will be discussed. The event will be Head Organised by Michiel Hofman (UK) in cooperation with the European Commission Office NI and will be presided by Amber Davy (IE). Two delegations will be selected to represent Northern Ireland at the UK National Session in Autumn 2017.

On 31 March our Northern Ireland Regional Forum was held in Belfast! A big thank you to Michiel Hofman (UK) who organised the event, and to our board and jury:

Amber Davy (IE) as President;
Rose Cantillon (IE) and Peter Mc Manus (UK) as Vice Presidents;
Imogen Findlay (UK) as Head of Jury, alongside representatives from the European Commission as Jurors; and
Sam Stronge (UK) as Journalist.

A further thank you to our new EYPUK alumni who acted as mentors at the session: Páraic Delahunt, Niall Conway, Conor White, and Jack Maginn.

On 14 March our South Wales Regional Forum was held in Cardiff, thanks to Head Organisers Joseff Reed (UK) and Paige Champken (UK). Working alongside them to put on a fantastic session were our board and jury:
Morgan Barnden (UK) as President;
Emma Chittleburgh (UK) as Vice President;
Alexandra Entwistle-Thompson (UK) as Head of Jury;
Joseff Reed (UK) as Juror; and
Llion Carbis (UK) as Journalist.
Congratulations to the delegations that were chosen to represent their region at our Summer and Autumn National Sessions later this year!

On Friday 17 March our Thames Valley Regional was held in the Oxford Union, organised by Jamie Arthur (UK) and James Testar (UK)!

Alongside them were a fantastic team of officials:
Oleg Rogoza (SI) as President;
Peter Mc Manus (UK) and Alice Munnelly (IE) as Vice Presidents; and
Anna Diehm (DE) and Jago Lynch (UK) as Jurors.

On Thursday we held our East Anglia regional forum in Cambridge! We are incredibly grateful to our fantastic Head Organisers Bethany Appleton (UK) and Ioana Diac (UK) who put their time and effort into putting on a fantastic forum!
