"Innovating Traditions - Empowering the Youth"

The 10th National Selection Conference organised by the European Youth Parliament Serbia aims to gather 150 young people from different European countries in the city of Belgrade from 13th to 17th of July (12th for Officials), where they will tackle topics Europe currently faces. The session is going to gather 50 officials and 100 delegates that will be divided into 8 committees. The session is presided by Ms. Halyna Virt (UA). The call for Head of Jury, Editor(s), Vice-Presidents, Chairpersons, Media team members and Jury members is officially closed. The call for the organizers and the delegates is opened until 4th of June!

Participants will have an opportunity to spend 5 days in the capital city of Serbia - Belgrade. It is a place where worlds collide, where ancient history merges with medieval times which again merge with the contemporary age. Located on the intersection of the Danube and the Sava river, it was destined to be the center of Balkan culture.

Stay tuned!

Is tradition an obstacle to progress? This is the question that was explored by the participants of Belgrade 2017, and this exploration of our theme was documented by Pepijn de Haan and Utkan Dora Öncül. The answers we received were certainly interesting, and we hope that they will provoke your thoughts as well, let's give it a go!

In this next project, Utkan Dora Öncül aims to give you an insight into the Media Team, that tries to document the atmosphere of the session, and more specifically an insight into Ahmed Jasarevic's shenanigans. Give it a look, you will not regret it! Enjoy!

When you were creating the resolutions on some of the most relevant topics of the moment during Committee Work, Klara Kokalj and Manca Bregar created a spot for you to share the love and your appreciation towards each other. This is the result, enjoy!

The Media Team has strived to contribute to the session itself, not only to its coverage.

That is how the journalists ended up writing Resolution Briefings! They aim to give you an insight into the vision, the thoughts, and the work of the committee behind the resolutions. Having been distributed two nights ago, we are delighted to see the results of our work in eight productive and fruitful debates, and we cannot wait to be impressed by you again!
