"Building Bridges between Europe and its Youth" was the theme of the session and as the words suggest it, there are many bridges that we can build. Gustav Dahlquist, one of our journalists, saw a bridge in self-development, which we can achieve by overcoming our fears.

The editresses of the session have mentioned in their opening speech how hard it is to understand what the media team actually does. For this reason, they have decided to challenge the delegates to put themselves in the position of a Media Team Member. Their task was to take a picture that reflects EYP in the best way. Here are some of the submissions, with the best picture by Charlotte Vanhandenhove !

One of the committees of the session, the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality, dealt with an issue that is slowly getting more awareness today in our society: gender-based violence.

Ioana Diac, the journalist of this committee, decided to interview some delegates and officials about the topic and here is what they have to say.

When we meet new people, we often make assumptions about who they are, what they like and what they think. This can very often happen in an environment such as EYP, where one meets so many new faces every day. However, most of the time these assumptions prove to be false, so instead of imagining who a person is, cross that bridge, and ask them to tell you their story.

Knowledge sharing is one of the central aspects of EYP, be it during Committe Work, General Assembly, Workshops. Tjeerd Bakker explored how non-traditional knowledge can be shared with the participants of the session, and how much we all unknowingly know!
