We have the greatest pleasure to announce that President of ISTANBUL '19 is going to be Joel Juntenen (FI/UA).

Here is a couple of words from Joel reflecting his vision for ISTANBUL '19.

"EYP is changing. It might be hard to see when you are in the whirl of a session, but when you look below the surface you might realise that our standards have not been in place for that long.

3rd National Forum of EYP Turkey will be held in Robert College. Our logo and the session theme have very special meanings for our Organising Team. The EYP was initiated in Turkey by Robert College in 1999. Since then we have been showing great enthusiasm for developing and spreading the EYP spirit. Following a series of complications, we have decided to re-ignite our EYP Club which is now being called as "the Phoneix". We will rise from our ashes to organise a flawless session for every one of you.

“Turning wounds into wisdom” is the motto for our session as it symbolizes the idea of considering our past mistakes to create a better future. Bearing in mind there are issues in the European Union that we need to tackle with, the session theme calls upon the young European citizens to look at the past and go through EU’s previous experiences in order to take realistic and beneficial steps for the future.
