Circular sustainability: rethinking today for shaping tomorrow

Milano 2020 is the 92nd International Session of the European Youth Parliament and it will take place in April 2020, in Milan (MI), Italy.
The session will focus on sustainability declined in social, economic and environmental clusters, while trying to be as sustainable as possible in the way the program is implemented.

Milano 2020 is Head-Organised by Gloria Maria Cavalieri (IT), Elena Marro (IT) and Katerina Mucci (IT) and the organising committee is currently composed of 6 Core Organisers, members of EYP Italy, who will soon be joined by 25 Italian and international Organisers.

The session is organised in close cooperation with Bocconi University, the regional council of Lombardy (Regione Lombardia) and with the support of the Office of the European Commission Representation in Italy of Milan.

Six experienced individuals joined the team alongside the italian organisers and have already boosted the ceaseless work aimed at making this flagship event an amazing opportunity of growth for all the participants.

Today is the World Environment Day.

The World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. Since it began in 1974, the event has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.

With the deadline of the Call for International Organisers getting closer, the Organising Team of the 92nd International Session in Milan decided to present the Team Leaders for each department. The session strives for creating an embracing environment to work together and grow and this brief and simple video is nothing but a step forward to get to know all of you.

The Sustainable Development Festival represents one of the most important activities to raise the awareness about the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.

We will take part in the Opening Ceremony that will be held in Rome on May 21st to talk about European elections and the importance of youth involvement in the current socio- political debate. On the same day, one of our project managers (Katerina Mucci) will be presenting the International Session of Milano 2020 and discussing its relevance within the achievement of the 17 sustainable development goals.
