Project Forum Henriettenplatz

16/04/2018 to 18/04/2018

EYP Austria is collaborating with the BRG/ORG15 Henriettenplatz for a project with three other schools in Norway, Germany, and France. As central part of the project, EYP Austria will organise a parliamentary simulation lasting from April 16 to 18, which will parallel a classic EYP Session, although the framework and length are new in Austria, and gather 40 Delegates, each participating country providing ten. The Head-Organisers and President are using this as an opportunity to think outside the limits regular EYP Sessions provide and experiment with new methods and approaches to EYP.

This is what we call dedication! Our next Mini Session in Graz is entirely organised by students who did their first EYP sessions in 2017 or 2018. Apply before May 27 ends to join them as an Official at EYP Austria’s Mini Session at the BG/BRG Seebacher in Graz, taking place on 15 June 2018. These one day events give many students the opportunity to get a first impression of our EYP world - be the one to make their memories last!

Talking about a nice venue! Our Board Member for International Affairs Bernadette Schwarz and a Member of her Team on International Affairs Hanna Begic met up with other National Committees at the Board of National Committee (BNC) Meeting in Berlin. They met the long-time EYP Austria Member Samuel Hönle there who is currently serving as Chair of the BNC Board. Do you want to know what they discussed and agreed upon? Check out www.eyp.org

During the Project Forum Henriettenplatz, which gathered delegates from France, Norway, Germany and Austria, the "Amazing Four" Media Team challenged participants to pronounce difficult words from all three languages present.
See how the delegates managed in this amazing video by Joona Mäkinen.

During the Project Forum Henriettenplatz 2018 a new chairing method named "integrated teambuilding" was introduced. Here the splitting of teambuilding and committee work was lifted and the two were merged. Therefore this gallery contains footage from both parts of the session.
