Yerevan 2019 - 89th International Session is one of the flagship events of the European Youth Parliament. Being on the crossroads of West and East, the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan has harmoniously combined the best of the two. The 2800 years old city is now proud to have architectural jewels like the Republic Square, the Opera House, the Cascade, the Government Building, as well as numerous galleries, museums, universities and parks.The event will gather around 350 participants from 40 countries in Yerevan, Armenia from the 9-17 March 2019.

We want to thank Denis Dodou for her contribution to Yerevan'19 and although we are saddened that she is not going to continue her role, it is our pleasure to present our new chairperson from Italy Riccardo Pagnan.

We want to thank Tim Keegstra once again for all his incredible work preparing the academic side of our upcoming session, and although we are very sad that he won’t be able to continue his role due to health issues, we would love to announce our new Vice President Maciek Kryński.

One of the treasures of 2800 years old Yerevan is the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, also known as Matenadaran. It is a repository of ancient manuscripts, research institute and a museum.
The collection of manuscripts of Matenadaran is one of the biggest in the world. The depository contains over 17300 manuscripts, 450 thousand archive documents, 3000 ancient books. The visitors of the museum have the chance to witness some of these ancient manuscripts in person.
