GB elections 2017 | Candidates

On 31st of December 2017, three seats on the GB will become vacant, as the term of Lars-Erik Nyborg, Jenny Ross and Isabel Cantalapiedra will come to an end. Between 20 and 28 of November, our National Committees will elect two new GB members and EYP members will elect one new GB member. National Committees have three votes each and members have one vote each. The GB members elected in autumn 2017 will be elected for a term of two years: their term starts on 1 January 2018 and ends on 31 December 2019. The following four candidates have decided to run for the three vacant seats:

Alexandra Blin, France

Marek Navratil, Czech Republic

Maria Manolescu, Romania

Philippa Marguin, France (teacher)

You can get to know the candidates by reading their election manifestos and watching the campaign videos, which you may find below.

We encourage all of you to get in touch with the candidates and to ask them any further questions. The discussion forum on the EYP Member Platform can be used for posting questions to the candidates and for discussions - go to the discussion forum here.
