EYP Armenia

EYP Armenia was founded in 2012, becoming a successful network and a platform for active youth in Armenia and giving a chance to express their viewpoints, develop their critical thinking and become a coherent part of socio-economic and political life of Armenia and the EU. Since then, more than 40 regional, national and international projects and events have been implemented, engaging around 4500 young people from Armenia and hundreds of foreign participants.

As an independent non-partisan organisation, EYP Armenia has cooperated with local and international organisations and entities to deliver projects in different scopes and formats. The major cooperation has been established with the Central Bank of Armenia, the EU Delegation to Armenia, World Vision Armenia, Red Cross Society in Armenia, Oxygen Armenia, European Business Association in Armenia, American University of Armenia, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, etc.

Also, for three years in a row EYP Armenia has been engaged in the BASES (Building A Strong European Society) project of the Schwarzkopf Foundation, implementing significant projects such as the International EYP Forum in Armenia (IEFA). EYP Armenia also hosted the T4ET (Training for EYP Trainers) in 2016. Various other trainings (including EU crash courses in the scope of “Understanding Europe” project), school sessions, inter-university forums and alumni/member gatherings are undertaken by the organisation.

"Diversity Lab" is an outreach training organised by #EYPArmenia on October 10-15 in Yerevan, Armenia, in the scope of #BASES (Building Strong European Society) project funded by Auswärtiges Amt.
It aims to provide the representatives of different National Committees with the tools and knowledge of ensuring inclusion and outreach in their respective NCs to produce strategic development plans focused on these areas. #CivilSocietyCooperation

Today-the 10th of November is marked to be the #WorldYouthDay. On this occasion we'd like to present four of many alumni and members of #EYPArmenia that not only are active in the organisation taking commitment for its development in any way possible, but they also represent the National Committee and the country at various foreign sessions. #proudEYPArmenia

Twice a year an important event for #EYP network takes place in Berlin- #BNC (Board of National Committees) meeting. Representatives from all recognised EYP National Committees, National Committee Candidates and EYP Initiatives gather to discuss current issues and make decisions.
At autumn BNC meeting of this year #EYPArmenia was represented by Arman R. Gasparian (President) Vardges Shahmenendyan (Vice-President on External Affairs), to who we are thankful for raising the voice of our organisation members and alumni within the whole network.

During past weekend, on October 28-29, Vanadzor city warmly welcomed a number of EYPers in the scope of Lori Regional Session.
The participants got a chance to speak up and discuss several important issues that also tied them as friends who will come back together during other EYP events.

While Regional Sessions of #EYPArmenia follow one another, discovering and uniting more and more young enthusiasts, here we prepare for the next significant session - #Gyumri2018 - the 5th National Session of EYP Armenia, which will take place on January 25-29, 2018 in Gyumri.
Hereby, we are honored to introduce the President of the session Lukas Rosenkranz, and ask you to read his message and vision for the session.
With this we open a call for leadership (Editor, VPs) and chairsteam to join Lukas on this important path.

Gyumri 2018 - 5th National Session of EYP Armenia

25/01/2018 to 29/01/2018

5th National Selection Conference of EYP Armenia will take place from 24th (CJO) to 29th of January, in the second largest city - Gyumri. Around 120 participants will gather from all over Armenia and Europe to discuss various topics in their respective committees.
