Mini Sessions unite everything unique about an EYP session on a single day: Through Team Building, Committee Work and finally the General Assembly, young people are introduced to political discourse, Europe, and the EYP within a couple of hours.
Ever wondered what the Board of National Committees exactly does and what their tasks are?
Do not worry, we’ve got your backs!
On August 27th Samuel Hönle, a Member of EYP Austria and, in addition to that, a real-life BNC-Board Member, will pay us a visit to talk about his work within the BNC! A once-in-a-lifetime chance to truly get a grasp of what the BNC actually is and that from first-hand.
Last but certainly not least, our final team left to present to you is the Media Content Team led by the fabulous Thomsn Micheler.
This rather small team of only four individuals has the important tasks of designing the logos for all our upcoming Sessions, aiding to maintain all IT related fields, communicating with various Media outlets and supervising our social media presence.
I think it is fair to say that we are all waiting impatiently to see what designs and output this creative team comes up with!
The call for Understanding Europe Trainers and the Statute Working Group closes *tomorrow*.

Our biggest team this year is the Team on Event and School Coordination and is led by our National Coordinator, Robin Hietz.
Along with EYP Austria’s beloved Mini Sessions, this team will be responsible for all our socialising events, allowing us to make new friends and see familiar faces again. Each member will additionally have the opportunity to work on small-scale projects independently and thus learn what it takes to put a plan into action.
We cannot wait to see what fun events and projects these inspired individuals come up with!
Another important team to announce is the Academic Quality Team which will be keeping up the high academic standards we have in EYP Austria.
Kerstin Reisinger and her highly motivated team will be ensuring and further improving the quality of our academic events and trainings. Drafting topics for our Sessions, evaluating and improving the academic concept for our Mini Sessions and preparing particular trainings are all within their field of responsibility.
The second team we would like to present to you is the Fundraising Team. The lovely Lukas Burnar and his five extremely competent team members have already started their work in ensuring the very future of our events.
This means the team will be taking up the challenge of helping with fundraising both in the private and public sectors. Developing trainings and providing support for the Organising teams of the upcoming sessions in all matters concerned with fundraising are also a part of this teams’ responsibility.
We interrupt our round of Team-introductions for a very special announcement.
