Now we have a very special treat for you! The Mini Session Eisenstadt, which took place on 17 May 2018, was the very first EYP Mini Session at which the responsible Media Team Member, Luca Peinsold, used his time there to create a media project! Check out his amazing video and pictures in this post. Additionally this Session was Head Organised by the wonderful Fiona Rechberg and Robin Hietz and lead by the President Lukas Burnar. Thank you all for your amazing work in bringing European politics closer to students all over Austria!
Before the current academic year ends, we want to look back on our achievements of this year and especially want to highlight our past Mini Sessions, some of which we still have unseen photographs and behind the scenes insights of! Today we want to present the Mini Session Bad Ischl to you. Delegates from the HAK/HAS and BG&BRG Bad Ischl participated in this Session, which was head-organised by Sophia Simmill and presided by Lukas Burnar. Shout-out to the Session’s Journalist Anna-Lisa Landrichter for the great pictures!
#tbt to our Mini Session KLEX, which took place on 25 April 2018 in Graz. It was visited by over 60 Delegates, these young students had the chance to take a first glimpse into the EYP world thanks to the hard work of the Head Organiser of this event Daniel Binder. This Mini Session was furthermore academically led by Kerstin Reisinger. A huge thank you also goes to the Media Team Member of this Session Ali A. Nourouzi.
Not only teams, but also individuals have helped our organisation to advance. Today, it is time to thank those people for their outstanding work.
Sophia Weiser hast been coordinating the Understanding Europe Project this academic year. She was responsible for carrying out Understanding Europe Trainings in schools and has been supervising a dedicated team of Understand Europe Trainers.
Today, we want to warp up our appreciation posts by thanking the team which was, next to media teams, responsible for most of the content you have seen on our channels, namely the Media Content Team. Every of the four team members was taking ownership of a distinct area of Public Relations with team leader Tamina Huber coordinating the collaboration within the team.
With three days left until a new board is elected, we would like to show our appreciation for the impact of the Academic Quality Team, also known as A-Team, had on our organisation. Roman Friedrich, Marian Korošec, Ferdinand Mayrhofer, Kerstin Reisinger and Tim Tomic are part of this team which is led by Matthias Schwertner.
The Fundraising Team is the third team we want to honour. Severin Meyer, Anna-Lisa Landrichter, Roman Friedrich, Lukas Burnar and Patricia Brandl have been dealing all sorts of task regarding Fundraising. Led by Christoph Herler, they have supported sessions in their Fundraising processes while also ensuring sufficient funds for general activities of our organisation. In addition, they have created and updated internal and external documents. Also, they have continued the implementation of a Fundraising-Database, enabling more effective Fundraising in the future.
The next team we want to express our gratitude to is the Team on Event and School coordination. The main objective of EYP Austria's largest team was to take care of smaller EYP events like Mini-Session and Socialisings. Each team member is assigned to a specific region. It is formed by Fiona Rechberg and Julia Zygmunt (Region North), Sophia Simmill and Ali Akbar Nourouzi (Region West), Sarah Lee Schuster and Hanna Mayr (Region South) as well as Daniel Binder and Dominik Groß (Region East) and is led by Robin Hietz.
