EYP SWEDEN's 2017

Today is the last day of 2017, leaving us celebrating the past year and the year to come. This is not the only thing we'd like to celebrate today, we'd like to celebrate the four biggest events we held in 2017.

EYP SWEDEN’s 2017

This year EYP Sweden tried out a new concept, holding Board Academic Trainings for the four different regional boards on spot. The newly elected boards showed fantastic enthusiasm and created plans for the whole year.

In May 2017, EYP Sweden held it's annual general meeting in Malmö. The meeting was organised by out southern board, EYP Sweden South - EUP Syd.

The meeting elected 8 new board members, being;

EYP SWEDEN's 2017

Between the 13th - 14th of May, EYP Sweden held our 3rd Alumni Weekend, this time up in Umeå. Approximately 20 members gathered to share competences in chairing, organising and journalising.

We would especially like to thank Robin Andersson and William Sandström who organised this lovely event. Also a big thank you to the trainers Elliott Syrén, Rebecka Madsen and Sofia Petterson for filling the event with high quality content!

EYP SWEDEN's 2017

This was truly a milestone for the northern EYP countries. The 1st Nordic Board Academic Training of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) was held in Stockholm in April 2017.

Trainees from the Nordic National Committees gathered at EYP Sweden's office in Stockholm to brainstorm and learn from each other within the fields of National Committee Management, organising and fundraising.

As the end of the year culminates, EYP Sweden would like to thank some people a little bit extra.

This is the faces of the volunteers that got elected into our National board and regional boards, and selected project managers, during the year of 2017. They have all been working incredibly hard with the organisation and its operation throughout the last six months.
