"If you are not sure if you shold apply to EYP - just do it! I promise, you won't regret it. It was the same for me, I just applied without exactly knowing what I was getting into, and I have met so many amazing people, had so much fun, went out of my comfort zone, had very interesting debates and learned so much for life at the three sessions I have attended so far! Especially the IS in Leipzig was a highlight, as there were people form all over Europe there together."
"The International Session in Leipzig was an amazing experience. It is impossible to fo to such a session and return as the same person. Suddenly, all the countries you hear about in the news are no longer simply words, but they recall faces, people you've met along your EYP journey. But if meeting people from all over Europe isn't an argument convincing you, EYP is much more, debates and discussions, teamwork and cooperation are what make EYP. It is not necessarily about the topic you are discussing, it is about the skills you learn in speaking, discussing and leading."
This was the Swiss delegation at Leipzig 2015 - 80th International Session of the European Youth Parliament. Julian Leopold describes his experience in EYP so far like this:
"All the sudden I knew people from all over Switzerland, an instant later I had friends all over Europe"
Is this something you would like to experience as well? Then sign up to our Regional Sessions of EYP Switzerland until Sunday: www.eyp.ch/events/regionals-2016/
