The Board of National Committees, the assembly of the national EYP chapters, continued today its autumn meeting in Berlin. Next to governance-related questions the NCs debate this weekend for example the definition of the network's non-partisanship and its meaning for our external communication.
Last Sunday the second Power Shifts Academic Forum came to an end after 8 exciting days in Warsaw discussing European energy matters and exchanging views with 120 young people from all over Europe. We congratulate Europejski Parlament Młodzieży EYP Poland on their 10th anniversary as an organisation, which was celebrated on friday evening at the event. All the best for the next 10 years!
On their first day as newly elected board members of European Youth Parliament - Ukraine Yulia Koba, Sophia Bilenko, Mariam Kunchiliya and Vladislav Korshenko were already busy networking. They attended a meeting of representatives of various NGOs in Kiev, organised in the framework of #KyivTrip16EM.

A warm welcome to our new intern at the International Office of the EYP, Beata Gasparova, coming from Slovakia. Beata is doing her final year in International Relations and European Studies, at a University in Prague. Beata will be working in Communications and Governance, supporting the upcoming Board of National Committees meeting and the GB elections.
In 2017, it will be 30 years since the European Youth Parliament was founded. To celebrate this occasion, the EYP warmly invites you to join the event next year during the 85th International Session in Brno!
Since Saturday 120 youngsters from almost 30 European countries have gathered in Poland for the second Power Shifts Academic Forum. Starting with Teambuilding and getting to know each other in the castle of Zamek Pułtusk on Sunday and Monday morning they moved to the city of Warsaw for Opening Ceremony in the Ministry of Energy! The participants were welcomed by Andrzej Piotrowski, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Poland (Ministerstwo Energii), Dr Filip Thon, Chief Executive Officer of innogy Polska S.A.
